Many vehicle manufacturers have come and gone over the years. When a parent company dies, the vehicles left might be considered orphans. This is an interested glimpse into the orphanage.
Our August 31, 2013, episode of The Automotive Hour, is a light-hearted look at "orphan cars" and will feature a guest host, Fred Duplechin. Fred is very knowledgeable on the topic as he owns three orphans. Mr. Duplechin is Regional Manager for the Studebaker Drivers Club, Vice-president of the Third Coast Avanti Club and a member of Gulf Coast DeLoreans.
Louis and Fred discuss what an orphan is, and many companies that produced them. This fun-filled program is full of facts and of interest to anyone who loves vintage cars. Registered guest may download the show here. You may also listen on Stitcher or iTunes.
