Tire wear from under inflation | |
|
Insufficient air pressure causes a tire to wear on both outside shoulders. This is often mistaken for an alignment issue, but is different, because both sides are worn almost equally. 
Additional air pressure pushes the center of the tire into contact with the road. This more evenly spreads the load and allows the tire to wear less. |
