Thursday, March 28, 2024 Demonstrating Quality
AGCO Auto Quick Tip:

Did you know AGCO Automotive founder Louis Altazan studied for several years with Dr. W. Edwards Deming. The AGCO management philosophy is based on Dr. Deming's 14-points and his theory of continual improvement.

Demonstrating Our Quality Before Service is Rendered

At AGCO, our philosophy is providing value to the client, over all lowest cost. To earn your business, we must answer the question, "Why would clients be willing to trust us over their other choices?" We feel there are many things that set us apart. There are three we can demonstrate before our service is rendered.

1.) Reputation

2.) Testimonials and Referrals

3.) Techniques

All three take a long-term focus to develop, and we feel they are our competitive advantage.

Reputation can only be earned by superior performance over time. We realize our reputation is affected by every job we do. We gain reputation by doing things well. We must look at every job and ask, is there a better way that it can be done? We must always ask, if money and time were not an object, how could it be done? Now, is there a way to do it to this standard, but in timely and cost effective manner?

We know doing a proper job starts with diagnosing the complete job. This is why AGCO diagnoses every job, before beginning work. In this manner we can deliver the vehicle on time, at the price quoted and fixed right the first time. Clients judge the results they get from a service, and excuses are just that.

Testimonials and Referrals are closely related to reputation. We feel the thank you letters posted in our waiting area are the result of delighted clients. We urge potential clients to check with friends and the BBB. Call our competition's service departments and ask them about AGCO’s reputation for quality service.

This cannot be faked instead it has to be earned. We earn it every time we do an excellent job. Steering wheels perfectly straight after alignments, brake pedals as high as when the vehicle was new, engines that perform as they should. All done right the first time, on time and at the price quoted. As we exceed these standards we gain reputation and earn client testimonials.

Techniques are what drive superior results. Things like flushing the brake system before performing brake service. This way the contaminated fluid does not get pushed through the new parts. Using distilled water in cooling system and mixing it 50/50 before installing it in the system. Testing pH in coolant and moisture level in brake fluid. Calibrated test instruments to verify our top quality air pressure gauges. A small thing, but no car is properly aligned with tires improperly inflated.

Precision levels test alignment machines to guarantee they repeat and read properly. We also maintain full in-house calibration facilities for our alignment equipment.  Surface test instruments to verify surface finish on rotors. Both new and resurfaced, improper finish can result in noise, rapid brake pad wear and poor stopping.

Surf Test Machine is used to check the quality of machine work, such as brake rotors

Even the way we store our oil and lubricants, in a climate and dust controlled environment. Each tank is fitted with a desiccant filter. This keeps dust and moisture out of our lubricants. Some shops might say, "Life is too short to worry about such details." We don’t think so. We believe engines last longer with clean dry oil than with a moisture laden and dust contaminated product. This is the way we would want to be treated. If you would like to know more, call for an appointment. We will be glad to take you on a full tour of our facilities. Great people, using superior methods get great results. AGCO, it’s the place to go.
